c                                            Cameras       

For video production we use broadcast-quality professional video cameras from Sony, JVC, and Panasonic.

For High-Definition productions we use the JVC GY-HD110 camera (below).  It's a shoulder- mount 720p camera with outstanding performance.                                       

We also use the Sony high-definition EX1R pictured below.   It does a great job with color rendition and low-light capability.

For standard definition production we use this Panasonic DVX100A (below).  This camera is widely used in the industry for documentary production.

Video can be simultaneously saved to a laptop computer, directly to a DTE (direct-to-edit) hard disk attached to the camera, and/or to the DV tape in the camera as necessary for back-up when recording on-location when using the JVC or Panasonic cameras.  The Sony EX1R is records direct to in-camera memory cards and does not require tape. This assures you that those special moments are captured and preserved

For "still" photography we use an 18-megapixel Canon EOS 7D.  It produces sharp digital photos which can be cropped and enlarged while still retaining image quality.  Having worked in photography since 1969 in both location, studio, and darkroom environments in both color and black & white, we are no stranger to the art.
